Did you set everything/most of it up yourself? I assume the phpBB runs on a leased host, not your house? What's something like this cost, if you don't mind my swinish manners? Is it one of those $8 ~ $10 bux/mo deals, or am I PollyAnna?

nah it's just a phony stage name.. my real name is metrosonus... actually I wonder if I can change the name.. hmm...

But yes, I setup the website and forum. It's on a godaddy.com account and it actually is about 6$ a month. I get 3 gigs of disk space and I think like 6-10 gigs of transfer a month. I'm not worried about the bandwidth though because all the media is on youtube, soundcloud or something.

Server side you get a ton of free apps.. I'm using wordpress for the blog and also as a content / site manager and then phpBB for the forum. Once you select them they install automatically and then all it is is configuration and plugins after that.

Over all it's just as cheap and way better than the sever I used to host my personal site on.

Yes, I talked to S&TG last night and he said I should just buy the URL and cram it into the thread.
