The first US colony was at Jame's town. The landing at Plymouth was unscheduled as they were left there by the captain of the mayflower in fear of a mutiny by the pilgrims. little known historical fact. they had just been kicked out of belgium and then later england for their cruel and puritanical preachings.
anyway, wait until you guys see what we d

Well, we have a hard-earned right to our fantastical feast. Our granddads & grannies hadda kick some seriously savage Nekkid Indian Butt! Thhen they marched the sorry-ass survivors off to Dakota or somewhere. You can't carry out a Holy Mandate like that without wanting to eat a turkey or two.
As to turkey: Ohhhhhh...
And leftovers! Unnnnnggghhhhh.
Luckily the holy aura of the original triumphal crusade continues in the mystery of transsubturkeyation, wherin the tiresome meat is converted into the relatively exciting form of turkey salad. This unassialable belief system is irrefutable, else they couldn't call it...

Re: happy thanks giving
Ok then
I hope everybody had a nice Thanksgiving weekend (well, those who do celebrate Thanksgiving).
I baked TWO big turkeys. Both had hand-made stuffing made from scratch that I learned from my mom. Who learned from my grandma. Who learned from... you get it (though my family's German so at home we baked ducks and geese, not turkeys, but it's the same thing, just overblown).
Lots of friends appreciated my cooking skills (we had a "Brazilian Community Thanksgiving get-together at my church), so I'm happy

I'm happy to see this level of happiness happening. I think perhaps it isn't haphazard happenstance, for we chaps are not hapless saps.

Um, are you guys zombies? 'cause, I've never had any brains, to speak of.

Re: happy thanks giving

Re: happy thanks giving
:thu: Point. Zombies are really dumb. Even if brains were good to eat, they're all sealed up inside a hard calcious crainium that's really tough to bite through. But they just go ahead chomping heads and breaking teeth. You'll never hear a zombie say "Pardon me, my good fellow, may I please borrow your bone saw? Oh, you prefer an arbor press? Capitol idea, my good man, I can see how much more expeditious your method would be."
Cows are smarter than zombies. Heck, they're smarter than the live people in zombie movies. It's like, all through the movie, people are getting caught and eaten by zombies. But, do any cows get eaten? No! You don't even see any cows, because they're too smart to stay around where zombies are! If they did stay, the zombies could just sneak up behind them and start chowing down on delicious rump roast. Well, just rump, 'cause it wouldn't be roasted. If zombies were smarter, they could carry friggin lazers and lightly braze the cow before eating him, but that'll never happen.

It's true though... If I were a zombie I'd drive to Belgium to find me one of their extremely meaty cows. And I'd probably snatch me a pig on the way there :D. Meat, oh joy! Brains, bleh...
