Akai introduces their new Max 49 controller keyboard with built in step sequencer, arpeggiator AND CV / gate control. This may be the perfect marriage for those of you into the modular scene or with some older gear laying around.

Rumor has it that due to lagging sales on the MiniAk, it’s slated for discontinuation, along with the aging Micron, on which it’s based.

Can anyone confirm?
