I really like this kind of demonstration. I think without a doubt, there's some extra dimension that our universe is folded into, next to, along or something.
If you can warp spacetime, it makes you think about what's on the other side of the blue fabric. And then we know higg's bosons come out of the blue fabric and then decay into subatomic particles. So, if matter can't be created or destroyed, where does it come from? How is there no net change in the matter in the universe then?
Anyone remember the dr who e space trilogy? it was written around this idea.. the sort of brane cosmology in which the entropy from one universe runs downhill into the next one and becomes the free kinetic energy of the next one. That's what I miss about the old show.. they took ideas like that and wrote stories around them.
Anyway.. science bitches !
