I recall that Mr. Pup announced the opening of some sort of salon de beaute, presumably as a joint endeavor with the Mrs.

But the absense of a response leads me to conclude that the idea of meeting Yours Truly IN PERSON has OVERWHELMED HIM! I fear I've frightened him clean off the innernets.

What happened is, I was visiting friends in OC but the whole week was supposed to be action packed. From UCI we were going to drive to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion NP but winter crapped all over those plans. I don't mind winter driving but snowy icy roads + mountains + Mrs Floyd = NOPE! And besides, I want all the desert colors in my canyons, not just shades of white. So then we said "let's drive up to San Fran for a couple days", but guess what? WINTER AGAIN dammit. So one day teh women suddenly left me completely to my own devices & I thought I remembered EP was close around there so...

Still had a good time though, visiting Anza-Borrego Desert SP, La Brea pits, eating fresh fishes and veggies & such.
