This weekend has turned out to be "Get The Garage Together" Weekend. Now I'm researching viable workbench designs. I'm not going to tackle another major project until I finally get myself a decent workbench, and teh wife is giving me the stink eye for not delivering some long-awaited projects.

Totally not synth related. Maybe a modular cabinet will come of it at some point, though.

I'm about to redo the garage. I have an ikea armoire i'm going to get some extra shelves for and use out the in the garage as well as buying another unit. it's going to clear up allot clutter. I'd also like to get a bench going with a portable tablesaw, drill press etc

I got all that, but I got bit by the handtool bug a few years ago and my old door-on-legs bench just isn't up to it. Oh look, my Droid takes photos, I just snapped these:

The table saw and band saw await my return...




Thickness planer, dust collector, current bench and a bunch of portable power tools underneath, etc, etc.




Teh wife is encroaching mn my territory with her bike collection, though... Grrr.




This is the new cabinet I installed on Friday, it's already loaded with jackets and helmets and sundry household crap. It, too, encroaches on my territory. Grrr.

ep, how do u like your droid? i have a samsung memoir and while i love the camera, they oversold the apps / media portion. is it oled? im thking about maybe a dell phone next year.

re: Droid. I love it. No, it's not OLED, but the screen is still very nice, I have no complaints about that part of it at all. The camera clearly isn't as good as a dedicated camera, obviously. The slide-out keyboard isn't worth it at all, I use the on-screen keyboard all the time.

Finally, on a final garage-related note: This is taking up space and I no longer use it, so I'm gonna sell it. It's a custom-made DeCuir bass cabinet with a 15" Guass 5840 driver. Does anyone know recognize the style of cabinet? I've never seen another like it, is this some sort of variation of folded horn?

Oh well. I dread selling it mainly because I have no intention of shipping it, so I'll have to either do the Craig's List thing or stipulate "pick-up only" on the 'Bay.
