Shame about that Vox Continental, does show though that you really do need to get out there and see how kit feels to play.

Yes, and unfortunately for me, there aren't any shops around that carry anything worth a damn, so I cannot try before I buy. Luckily, Sweetwater has a good return policy. That's why I mostly deal with them.

I think the sound in the demo sucks, it doesn't seem like a direct recording. This is a direct recording:

Don Solaris created a patch set for the Blofeld that really shows off the VA engine. Some patches named after a few of us here, even :) I loved the ChristianRock patch... :)

This is the Blofeld soundset, if this doesn't make you want a Blofeld I don't know what will...

SuitAndTieGuy patch around 3:25
Christian Rock patch at 23:20 :)

Ive been told that there will be a ClavAnother patch in the Moog One™ By one of the Alpha Testers. It's going to be a Funky Clav..

I'm surprised they had that in to be honest, they have a surprisingly good synth section for a shop of their size, upstairs space which is entirely synths and controllers and some space beneath it downstairs which is mostly piano/organ and the odd synth they're pushing, that said, it's mainly the big 3 and Moog so anything else is a bonus.

Not a lot of stock or sometimes any, got a piano stand and stool from them a while back, they had to order both in as the display models were the only ones they had in.

Sorry lol I didn't get around to opening it before I went away to Whitby Regatta.

Nice little break, on my way back now... dare say I will get it sorted this afternoon, have some downtime as the cattery is shut until 4pm when I can turn up and collect Eugene.

He's fine, just been in the cattery while I was away so he gets his injections.

Still sulking a bit I think.

Another box! This one gives the game away a bit.

That charity shop mdi keyboard with the yellow keys had to go and while the memotron's out of action I needed something I can control other kit from... Manikin will take forever to sort anything out but this way I'm not gonna get riled about it.

Really glad I went to PMT and felt up some controllers, keybed not as good as the P6 but good enough and ok for the price.

Will have to rtfm to figure out what else I can go with this.

Nice.

But awwww... the yellow keys had a story, I'm sure. Which is now gone forever? ...

oh. Hey, I have that. :thu: Agreed on the keybed being suboptimal, though. Mines the A800, the 61-key version. I'm curious, if you don't mind my asking... how much?

I can't say I found a better keybed in that price range, P6 is like 8x the price so one expects something smart in that range.

The throw on the keys is a little low, action firm enough.
