Hey, if it sounds good, I would buy. I know it sounds like I'm THE anti-Moog, and maybe I am. But I'm not stupid, either.

Well. Mostly.

I think that everything you might need a mini for would be easily accomplished on the KRONGKRUNGKRANGKRING

Indeed, CR. Indeed it can.

Also, I loved that little jam. Funk-a-Delic.

Christ. That sequence is grating.

Behringer decided to appeal to the bad Eurorack demo crowd I guess.

(Note to demo people: Tuning a synthesizer and playing something interesting on a keyboard is not a hard task. Even on a Eurorack. :insertyoukidsoffmylawniconhere: )

I'm pretty sure that it was initially announced at 400, and then they did a reduction and the entire internet was talking about it for many weeks. So that post was earlier.

Also, being someone that recently had to wait two years for a CS50, a couple weeks wait for a Booger D is basically nothing.

I wasn't going to get one until the market flooded, hoping they would be even cheeeper, but I broke down and ordered one after hearing how awesome it is now that some friends have them.

I noticed a few people had them in their gear pics on gearslutz, but they still are on pre order at the stores. i really hope all this isn't semi vapor hardware like 99% of Waldorf's products. That, the neutron and now the announced system 100 .. please.. get these things on shelves

Vapor?? This thing is shipping like crazy. They are everywhere now. They sell out within a day. Mike Perkins brought his over to my place last night and I spent a good hour with it. It is a fantastic synth. At that price I can't imagine not getting one. It's worth way more than they are charging. Mike's was having tuning issues but we calibrated it in less than ten minutes with a small screwdriver. Apparently that happens to some of them, but it's really easy to do.

But the sound is wonderful. Even people that say they aren't really into the "moog" sound would probably be surprised at its versatility. Something I've been noticing is that more people are sequencing it so it is being used in a completely different application than we are used to. Meaning, I think of a mini as a performance synth. I always bought that it's charm came from how you play it. The way people use this thing brings out a different character.

well then they're selling out, that's the issue  Every where is like "pre orders". I just figured they did some limited run and the rest were on back order.

Yeah I really want all these goodies lol

I ordered one a couple days ago from Mf and they said 6/4

So I ordered one from AMS too and they said 5/1

So I will either cancel/keep/or sell for 400 lololol

System 100 sounds amazing. Also is free on the System 8. I'm very pleased with it.
