I wish they'd stop making things with minikeys... they bug the heck out of me.

So, This is what is going on in my studio as of March 2017. Lots of gear needs to GTFO and I need to finish several repairs, and I need to tidy up a bit. Also, I need to get that confounded CS50 in here; Old Crow says he'll restore it in March...

From the Control Room

The Electronic Music Rig (do you like how I mounted the D4 and the MIDI router under the other drum machines?)

The Electro Mechanical Rig (STG's Novation BassStation is just visiting for a while)

So, still not a proper build show off, but thats coming SOON

Thanks Pup! That's not even the half of it, there's still the guitars and stuff. But I will say it's also a great place just to ..be

I like hanging out in there and modifying stuff to make things flow better and I'm always looking for the better way to set things up, but it sometimes depends on how it's used. Right now I'm playing with a band regularly working on originals and stuff so there is a focus for that project. I Sometimes feel like I'm going to have to make a T.O.N.T.O. Type setup to be able to play all the keys instead of separate stations.

STG often laughs at me when I say that...

Clav, what is the cause of the electric blue? Just blue LEDs? Tell me, I must know.

I want that same lighting in my space.

Nice stuff, Clav. A proper mancave if I've ever seen one.

So, curious. What gear will need to GTFO?

They are lucero smart bulbs. They are bluetooth and can flash between colors and all kinds of other stuff (you control it with your phone) Plus they are mic'ed and can react to music. They are rgb (red blue green) LEDs rated at 40000 hours

I need to get these, immediately. And they are just "standard" bulbs in that they work in standard sockets?

Meh. Cool mood-setting ambient futuristic techno lighting for my studio > price. I will have them. Yes, I will.

It's pretty great.

Cons: bluetooth is limited to four synchronized bulbs. The others are still controllable individually though.

Also the brands that sell wifi ones are much more expensive plus you need hubs and stuff

The Bluetooth bit is just a bonus. I don't really need it, but it's cool it comes with. They are $32 a piece on Amazon. I will need 4. So that's perfect.

That's right Roxanne, just turn on the purple one. After all these years, the mystery of this song is finally solved

The bluetooth is how you interact with them, changing color, brightness, effects, etc.

Right. I would've settled for just electric blue LEDs, but hey. This way there are options. :thu:

Lol the default is white. Without BT, it would look like regular bulbs
