First of all, whatcha mean franken? There's really nothing to build. You just pick one up and maybe add ram if you need more. Or you add hard drives or whatever. But you don't build em, you just get one used from some sucker that thinks newest is best and sells their older one to pay for the newer one.

And yes the os is loaded on a running machine so it has an os in it to start. But I was also saying that I've never shelled out cash for any os and I've used them all.

It's just not applicable to use the windows mindset; the os isn't keyed, so any copy is loadable. And you don't buy a random case and start filling it, you just buy the whole deal and upgrade if you feel you must.

But the best part is if you want to use it with music hardware or as a daw, it works!

one thing that I love is looking at the manual for any piece of gear and counting the pages and thumbing through the dozens of steps for getting something to work with a pc, then looking at the last page: to use a Mac step 1) connect the cable. Step 2) there is no step 2

Also, put some damn tint on those windows, and it'd look sweet as hell. You have awesome rims.

Tint would be nice, at the very least on the rear windows. I had one with the sides tinted once and got pulled over and fined at court. Plus I had to peel it off. I think the law might have changed since then though and I could tint it now.

The rims are the same ones i had in one of my others (this is my third, because it's my fav vehicle of all timez) and I liked them so much that I put some in this thing too.

Well, some shade of tint is legal basically everywhere. Just don't go beyond the legal tint and you should be ok. I got 8% darker than is allowed in Alabama on my Mustang, and I have had no trouble with the law about it (and probably won't) - they don't really enforce tint laws here.

Looks like mine, but mine's white and is 3 years older. We got the "econoboost" V6, though. It does the job, though, but sometimes I wish the bed were longer and the cab was shorter. Teh Wife just HAD to have the Supercab, though.

Ours is a V6 Ecoboost, too. But dude. Seriously. The truck literally can blow cold air onto your balls through the seat. THROUGH THE SEAT. It's some sort of sorcery. Plus, it has voice activation everything, sunroof, back up camera, nav, tech, literally everything.

For 15-20k less, we could've gotten the same truck just without so much superfluous junk that'll just break and cost and arm and a leg to fix. But, I did not have a voice in this, so I cannot be blamed. My conscience is clear.

And it will be EVER CLEARER when I spend "stupid amounts of money on musical instruments that are for hobby only." And I won't care one whit. NOT ONE!

Dunno what company is behind it, but it is called "Sync" .. that said, everything works beautifully. And it is a VERY nice truck. The damn thing rides as good as a Cadillac. But we didn't need half the stuff it has. My poor Mustang is just a base model, with only a few extra trimmings. Just what I wanted, minus the tech package that I should've gotten, but didn't. Oh well. It is what it is.
