Well,

The Trident is a 3 instrument ensemble type of synthesizer - String, Brass and Synth. Each section has its own unique VCO voice architecture, VCF filter types, and LFO capabilities. It features 8 voices of polyphony and 2 of the instruments can be played while in Split Keyboard mode. A unique effect included is a flanger that can self-oscillate! Flanger controls include Speed, Feedback, Intensity and Manual. It had limited 16 (mkI) or 32 (mkII) patches of memory and there is no way of externally controlling the Trident with MIDI or CV/Gate without modifications. But it sounds very nice and warm and analog. It has been used by Rick Wakeman and Joe Zawinul.

Trident Audio

It seems that it can also be rather Peter Davison Era DW.

I didn't know you both wanted one.

I would be pleased to review it and offer plenty of audio, but alas, I still have not reassembled it yet!

This will all happen soon.

Please be patient. In the mean time have a :drink:

Not interested in a Trinity myself.

I want to keep one good poly analog, and right now all I have in that department is my Polaris. I'm still kinda on the fence as to whether this is the polyana that I want to keep long term. I'd much rather have it's big brother, the Chroma, but... pricey.

I keep thinking about possibly building my own poly based loosely on the Chroma. I'm intrigued by how the Chroma's VCOs work and want to try to duplicate it.

Anysnooch...

Pop quiz, hotshots:

You go to the men's room and there are 3 urinals. None are occupied. Which do you choose?

(I ask because someone here at the office consistently chooses poorly.)

to adress your serious concern

the main thing is we don't expand to fast... we can move our main headquarters here for the tax breaks and consider writing off the gearslutz expansion and consider perhaps selling it to the chinese, we should see a good return in lulz in the next quarter.

If we can all roll up our sleeves and really dig in, we can get around the curve by getting on top of it and coming out over and under done. Then it's miller time!

Politics aside, it's actually nice to just talk to you guys again. We should have had a private board room a long time ago

but ah divide by zero.. um don't you mean 5 threads? here, one old, one new @ kss, geartslutz and muffwiggler = 5? oops there goes the universe, goodbye

I used to work with a certain redneck racontuer who, upon finding you 'at your station' in the men's room, would invariably regale you with

"Hey, ah didn't know you was a ferener!"

"What do you mean by that, Sir?"

"You're a-peein"!

don't worry about it. the first and fourth ones are over. along with their slow ass servers. the second one is a healthy franchise in the event of a shut down. the third one was closed down as its manager Don Solaris did a p*** job and it was not profitable.

The new Corporate Headquarters are likely going to stay here.
