Maybe I'm not as much of a nerd as I thought, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one.

I have a soft spot for these, I'd love to have one:



But I'm sure the first time it rang, my wife would throw it towards my head, so not buying one.

The thing that bothers me about those "binary" clocks is that they only went half way. They're still showing the decimal digits of the time, rather than the tru binary value. If the time is 3 values (hours, minutes, seconds), then there should be 3 sets of bits: 5 bits for hours, and 6 bits each for minutes and seconds.

ElectricPuppy is right, the clock is not really "binary", it is a binary coded decimal. (ducks)

speaking of which, Clavia finally makes the Electro 73 go from "E" to "E" instead of F to F. I've been bitching about that for ages, but I'm not going to get a new Electro. I will however add a Low "E" to My E2 since there is a contact for it in there (which just makes it all the more irritating that they didn't use it before .?)

I have the key, the grommets, and the spring. I just need to 3D print an upstop since fatar grinded them off .?
