Then I would hear him inside going "what the f*ck just happened" and after he switched it, I would do it again.

Eventually I would knock on the door and he never mentioned the fact that he'd been rickrolled and I never told him it was me.

lulz...oh yes.

This. This is brilliance. SI approves.

Wait I missed this post??!

Blergh

Bonso just lost a two sentence post. Thats gotta be rough.

Dude, it was War and Peace. I was ranting and raving about all the devices and media setup I've got at home, pros and cons. It was a veritable work of art. Probably would've been nominated for the Booker prize.

Now.....gone. Like sands through the hourglass.

Alas.

Yep.

Except hourglass sand is still there isn't it...

Anyway this is now your longest post. Congratulations :)

Hey, I'm a busy man. It's all about quality, not quantity.

But yeah that hourglass analogy was crap, wasn't it.

Most of them I guess I just don't care if I ever listen to again, and I don't want to spend hours upon hours ripping them to a media player or whatever. Do you guys have a bunch of CD's laying around, too?

I did the whole "rip the whole thing to a hard drive" a long time ago... so yeah, the CDs kind of sit there in a box in a closet, unloved.

(I guess they are good backup in case there's a Giant Magnetic Hard Drive Wiping Storm or something...)

I gather a lot of people don't even do that sort of thing these days, they stream all their tunes via Pandora or Spotify, and all of their tunes are owned by THE CLOUD or something...

I mostly stream these days. Either ambient at work or old school stuff, dance music at home from time to time. I hardly listen to music anymore except when I'm out walking or cooking out or something.

I still like my music a lot, but I prefer to make time for it rather than have it on all the time and have it lose it's "specialness".

That said, I still have quite a record collection which I'm enjoying now more than anything. I have tons of MP3s on DVD, HDDs etc. A few CDs around..

I have more than 300 CDs that I want to put on the computer, but at this point I keep think it will take so much effort that as I feel the need to have a dijital copy of something, I just downloade it. That way the computer can do the work while I sleep, which why they were invented in the first place, amirite?

Except that just saying 'who wants snausages?' isn't an opinion.

But when you look for the root cause of the problem you can clearly see that the reason nobody cares about anyone's opinion is because all opinions smell like buttholes.

If a 4s, then you are good. If a regular 4, I'm not sure why they would supply you with that, as it is not supported for the new iOS 8. That said, you could probably manage with iOS7 for a couple of years before it's completely obsolete.
