Alright people, I went and made a video of me synthesizering inside-of-the-internet™ 24 hours ago to show you how easy and rewarding it is.

Aren't any of you going to get inspired and join in???

No. I'm pizzed cause I missed a used MOTU 896 Mk3 @ GC for $299.

What you did right there, though, was inspiring. If I have to , I'll do one with my cheapy Edirol interface. I need to try the HD viddy capabilities of my T3i anyway.

I want to see the grand with it's teeth knocked out again, with the Space-Vag installed getting banged on to the tune of an electric piano

I got mine at Guitar Center but I'm sure I could have done better... they're the stretchy kind and don't inspire a lot of confidence that they keep the dust out. But there's not a lot of dust in my basement anyway.

I can't ever keep track of what's going on in what thread any more

Anyway, Q for Pros.......

Giving that we're trying again for a baby here soon, my wife says that once things are safely underway, the first thing I need to do is start building an office / studio in the garage. She makes a good point that it's better to do it now than later.

Part of that will be making a custom studio desk and I've always really wanted a digital piano as a controller. If I can track down a good used one, I can build a desk around it. And given that I know nothing of digital pianos, do you guys know any 90's era ones that would make a good controller?

The only things I need are 88 keys, that smooth, weighted piano feel and MIDI out. Other than that, I don't care what brand ect.

Thanks

I'd still have my Roland A-90 if it wasn't for the fact that I wanted the Fusion sounds, so I decided to stick with a Fusion 88 as the controller/synth. A-90s are quite cheap for how good they are.
