I try, aside from the few instragram filters i've used, not to use any processing or anything in the camera or otherwise.

To me, the fun of photography is the photo you see, not the one you take. Meaning, the photos I've taken are from normal moments of my life, a trip or something and I've said "that'd be a good photo" and well, snap, it is a second later.

you have that same camera? Or what accessories are we talking about here? Like purses..? err I mean man bags?

In 1996, a 38-year-old Muncie, Indiana, woman tried to remove a callus from her toe with a blast from a .410-gauge shotgun. She missed, but not in a good way, blowing off her entire big toe. She told police later at the hospital she had been drinking heavily and it seemed like a good idea.

I remember seeing her being interviewed afterward on TV. I got the impression that she would probably get along fine with a reduced compliment of toes. She didn't look the type for tennis or ballet. If fact, I'd bet she previously wobbled, just walking to the refrigerator.

At least it probably didn't hurt. Till later.

And when later comes, there's always more hooch.

And furthermore, the above event was recognized and immortalized
(albiet in a somewhat cloaked manner), by the writers of The Simpsons:

"Some folks'lll never eat a skunk
But then again, some folks'll
Like Cletus, the slack-jawed yokel
Most folks'll never lose a toe
But then again, some folks'll
Like Cletus, the slack-jawed yokel"

From the episode titled "22 Short Films About Springfield",
air date April 14, 1996

Coincidence? I'm quite sure I don't know...

Indiana has lots of carps, but we do not have a magazine about them.
Britain, however, has at least two because this one claims to be
BRITAIN'S BIGGEST SELLING CARP FISHING MAG.

"Amazing specimens from Area 52"

"Carpe dayum!" *

*Well, OK, I made that one up.

Wow, MS. That first pic (of the three you posted) is AMAZING. Very nice work, especially for a cell phone.

Thanks! That was a special photo. Here in Tampa, I live right by the port and drive by it near daily driving my son to and from school. I always wanted to stop and take a photo of the ships that are in the port sometime. So one night we were bored and we decided to go out to eat and I wanted to stop by the side of the road and finally take some pictures. So I did and the lighting was more than perfect. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Today in Indiana it might as well have been Florida, with the hotness and the dampidity and the sweating oy! If I wanted, I could've hung a couple T-Bones outside and make Steamsteaks™.

It is a good week to beer.

But we still haz no alligraters.

Yes there is. It's not at all unusual weather for this time of year, though. Today the heat index reached 100° F. No Sir, I don't like it. I sleep through the day, of course, but even while I'm slinking about at night it's muggy.

It FINALLY decided to get over 80 around here. Sheesh! I blame the ocean. Stupid cold California waters!

Side note: you see pics of people frolicking in the waves around here all the time. I'm here to tell you that's a big fat lie! Our beaches are nice, yes, but getting in the water will instantly cause 90% shrinkage! That water's COLD.

I don't like being in low visibility ocean water, which is usually the type associated with beaches. Too many bitey, stingy varmints and unseen objects touching my leg. I think I'd like snorkeling in clear, warm, safe coral reef type water, though.

I can never scuba because my Eustachian tubes won't allow it. My ears just won't pop easily enough. And yes I've tried everything.

You should visit the beaches down here, fren. Our water is SO warm (and clear, too, Plinky), you're almost guaranteed 90% expansion.
