No haz Netflix. Well, we did, but just the DVD service because their streaming selection (at the time) sucked the large one. That was a couple of years ago, though, has it improved? We're finding a lot of stuff on Amazon Prime, maybe it would be redundant?

They have a lot of the same catalog, but then they don't share a lot of their catalogs. We have both, but for totally different reasons. Prime because BEN ORDERS THE SHIT OUT OF STUFF ALL THE TIEM, and Netflix because I like movies.

Also, BTILC is probably in the $5 bin at the local Wally World. You can't go wrong owning it, honestly.

So I was really looking forward to the release of the remake of Poltergeist on Bluray this week. Picked up the film Tuesday and watched it that night. It sucked balls.

I dunno why I didn't suspect a disappoint.

I should've.

I know better now.

I was just complaining on FB that my biggest gripe with these online services is that their content is found mainly through social suggestions. If you liked, you'll like.... because your friend on facebook liked, we think you'll like.. etc. NO GD INDEX. it's like if you don't know the name of it already, you won't F'in find it.

seriously.

For Netflix, instantwatcher.com is your best friend. It has the entire catalog, searchable in many, many different ways, and it a must for Netflix viewing.

Mondays DO sucketh. I have barely had time to breath today. Tax bills went out on the first, and the first wave of recipients have made their way into the building. Repeat, taxpayers have entered the building.

So, the Internet is positively abuzz with comments and praise about The Martian. I've not heard one negative comment thus far.

Perhaps you are right, EP. Perhaps, you are right.
