I went to see Despicable Me last night, agree with what's been said already, needs more plot but still good fun.

Am going to organise a 'rim job' trip before the evening bdsm munch next Friday... or at least I will once the cinema gets it's act together and puts up the listings for next Friday... that film looks nuts. The first proper live action mecha movie? unless we sort of count ~that bit~ in Aliens.

I haven't seen anything lately aside from kids movies, the last one being despicable me. Although soon I think we're seeing cloudy with a chance of meat balls 2. I did take a week off from work just to have some personal time and I watched the expendables and reds.

Has anyone seen Riddick?

I just saw that it's on at my local cinema... then I read down to the comments and someone says that the best actor is the dog.

That does not sound promising.

Don't jump to conclusions. Maybe the dog is an exceptional actor.

I seen riddick, I really liked it 7/10 but the dialog, acting, etc was all pretty banal lol

I just always liked the riddick series and don't have any good reasons why

I don't even know why vin diesel is even an actor but I like him

ymmv

btw the dog has a huge role in the movie and somehow makes riddick more human and interesting despite the aforementioned lack of acting

I also like anime which has mostly terrible acting and banal dialog lol

Body/voice combo. Cuz he damn sure can't act. That said, I do love the Riddick series too, but haven't seen the newest one yet.

world war z was ok, 7/10 but I can think of better zombie flicks like grind house and even walking dead

it was kinda different and I didn't even know it was about zombies when I went lol. 28 days later and I am legend had the non-lurching, more dangerous fast 'zombies'

In wwz there's a scene on a plane that's incredible and in a bio/hospital

the zombies scalling walls and working as a big mass of them crawling on eachother in fast forward was just kinda weird (these are not spoilers they're scenes in the trailers)

I'm actually not a huge fan of zombie films so maybe that's why I give it a better review/score than others

after earth 2/10, m night shyamalan did some amazing movies like 6th sense and unbreakable, I just don't know what happened lol

vampire hunter d: bloodlust (anime) 8/10

runner runner 6/10, good premise, fairly interesting points about online gambling as a tech business. making it a deification and ego battle of the characters. would have made a good rap video

They need to produce some proper scifi, such as may be found in proper scifi novels.

This could be a good one:

But it won't be. Let's see, the story bounces around for 1000 years, the hero is a holographic dead guy, and the central quest is for stability and knowledge. Hollywood will do it justice.

Yeah right.
