Yeah, but I want one with good video specs, too.

Jyoti, I was hip that you used your D5 for that vid. :thu:

Have you monkeyed with the firmware on it? Like Magic Lantern or anything?

OMG - I had (and still have!) a Merling and the Evel Knievel. I wanted my Mum to buy me the jetcar but she never did. And I never got the Action Man with the grippy hands, mine had the stupid fixed ones where he looks like he's throwing down LA gang signs. MOTHERFUCKAA!

In other news, it has grown dark while I have been typing on FB, Flickr etc. Should I get up and put on the light or simply wait for dawn.

In other other news, I am hungry. Who will make of me a sammich?

Yeah, it's a fair point! You'll have to wait a bit, then. Or expose yourself to penury...

Naah, it's fine for me since the last upgrade which let you disable AGC, change framerates etc. Tbh, I feel a bit foolish in that I use it 95% of the time for stills despite it being such an awesome cinema camera. And I have a shitload of mad EF lenses, I should do an Attenborough or something.

Here's what I have been doing with the little beast:

It's got even darker. Or I've gone blind.

Got no food in. Looks like it's time to open that can of anchovies and whack 'em on some Ryvita. *sigh*

You bloody kids with your SpaceFace and your C++ and your hippidyhop. In my day, unless you could throw out some 6502 and do a Rubik's cube and do the intro to 'Pass The Dutchie,' you were fucked.

You phoned girls on their parents' landline. You were forced to talk to their Mums and Dads! And you know what happened if they didn't turn up at the meeting place? YOU WENT HOME! ALONE! AND MASTURBATED OVER PAPER PORNOGRAPHY YOU FOUND IN A HEDGEROW.

You have broadband internet. WE HAD PRIVET.
