Well, it's possible that it just needs minor care like replacing caps and such, but with something like this I feel better bringing it to the guy who knows more about the CS series than anyone else.

Besides, do you have any idea how many projects I have on the bench right now? I have the parts to do a full rebuild of the Clav and haven't even started it yet. I could fill a page with examples like that.

I gave up the idea of ever owning a big bastard CS years ago; I just want to play the thing. I have a major soft spot in my soul for the sound of these things (well especially the 80 of course, but I'll take what I can get)

Did I mention that it has The Force™ like my Moog Liberation? Best after touch system I've used.

*excited*

When you go get it, you MUST ask: Dude, is that a Juno?

Then when the seller has that puzzled look on his face you wait a second...

and wait for it....

No, a guy I had at the studio saw my Sledge and decided he had to have it. He's giving me the Juno plus a sizable amount of cash. An offer I can't refuse.

I've never associated myself with Junos, but it's a cool enough board and I've never had one so that's always fun. I like the way you can trigger the arp steps externally.

.

So, it's missing a bit here and there, like the octave toggle "bat" - the switch still works though. Also missing the transpose switch cap. Some sliders and knobs need to be cleaned, but it does work.

Very nice, very nice. I'd love to hear how you think the Juno and the Poly compare and what their strengths / weaknesses are, if you have the time to pontificate.

Yeah, this is no subterfuge... I do have a CS, but it is at Mr. The Suit's studio, because after he brought it back from the east coast, we decided there was no pernt in bringing it here until it gets hauled off to Chicago for a proper assessment.

I apologize for being a vintage analog magnet, but I swear the shit just falls in my lap. The very last thing that I expected to do this week was to get paid for owning a JU6..

I do has a sad at passing on the Sledge, but I have plenty of other things to keep me busy at the moment.

you know...like :jam:

well, firstly, the Juno 6 doesn't have a battery, so its better.

srsly, I will have to make a movie comparing that sweet SSM filter to the Juno. I will say this though, the Juno's ability to advance the arp with a rimshot from the TR8 is very very interesting to me...
