Could be the most curious thing I've seen on Ebay for a while, uses an undocumented sound chip, apparently FM.

Sound strangely reminds me of a lot of 80s pinball machines.

Vintage Synth Explorer has a page on it.

Per some other parts of the net it was based on the Yamaha YM2413 chip -- 2 op FM! CHEEEP!

A lot of arcade machines and pinball machines at the time used the 4 op Yamaha YM2151 which was also used in the Yamaha DX21/DX27/DX100. So yeah, if you want to sound like a 1980s Williams System 11 pinball machine, and can figure out the weirdness of DX programming, these synths are your ticket.

Well, some other Googling says the YM2423 instead of the YM2413. Close enough, though. (Apparently they mainly differ in the hardcoded preset sounds.)
