I think we should have a samples thread where we can all post and share samples that we've collected over the years so that, even if you have samples in your collection that you never have/will never use, other people can get some use out of them.

I will start off by posting a link (sorry, I haven't gotten around to *actually* sampling this yet, but this weekend I will) to the awesomely eerie "sounds" coming from the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, which Philae recently landed upon.

wave alchemy has tons of awesum samples, especially drums

pink noise has some of the best 'synth' libraries for kontakt (matrix, virus, etc)

I'm getting into project Sam more (symphobia), and albion (I got their orchestral bass & steam works). there are so many awesum kontakt libraries that I might just get k10 ultimate and call it a day

I've had a puremagnetik membership for years (and t-shirt!) they switched to ableton only, now I think they do kontakt, esx24, etc again

ape bought redmatica (auto sampler) which was great for sampling romplers and such. I tried to sample my korg O1w/fd but couldn't figure it out/didn't have time

etrainer or sumthing from gearslutz was making drum libraries a couple years ago with nice editing and sources
