Hey Vera, what OTA are you going to use? I heard the old standby RC3080's aren't available anymore. And what are you using for schematic capture?

I'm using the LM13700 OTA. I think it's pretty much the standard, I've never heard of RC3080. I'm using ExpressSCH for the schematics, from the ExpressPCB company. I was required to use it for a previous class so I figured I use it for this too. It links with the ExpressPCB software so that when you're doing the PCB layout it checks your connections against the schematic to make sure you connected everything right.

* *** FYI public announcement ** 8***

the ttsh kit is going on sale/pre-order on dec 2 for around $1000, this is a clone of the arp 2600. it comes with a face plate, case/box, pcbs and i believe the components will have to be sourced yourself (he will likely provide a bom tho). for the uninitiated its about 75% of the size of the original

:love:

$620 for the panel & PCBs, shipped. I think I'd make my own box & save $310...

so this is sorta what my west coast euro synth is shaping up to be:

Image

i've ordered a few more panels today (the west coast mini synth, the cgs msu, dual vc bandpass filter & j3rk fadr), some come as kits and some just with pcbs.

so aside from the ones i've already got, the only one i haven't ordered is the quad resonant low pass gate, as i already have 2x dual low pass gates in serge format so i might get something else

i'm just slowly purchasing all the parts, knobs, pcbs, panels, wiring, etc then when i have time i'm gonna start building it
