Niiice. I'm getting shades of LCD Soundsystem with that one. What was doing the sequenced part?

Good ear Pup! I get that LCD vibe too :)

The sequence is the Beatstep Pro sending pitch and filter mod to the MiniBrute. The sweet horns are the OB6, and the heavy strings are the System 8 (106) TR8 controls the beat.

Part five of six of the St Pat Jam. Some a local kid drummer wanted to try to put together a band for some summer festival gigs that he booked because his other band is now defunct. So this is sort of a meet and greet between myself and a guitar player and bass player. We were sort of testing the waters so this is all improv. It was with no expectations, but we all had fun.

Jake on drums
Ryan on guitar
Drew on bass
Clavanother on electric piano, organ and Moog liberation.

Other than the guitar sound (DSP? Line6 I guess?) I enjoyed it.
The drummer might be a kid but he's got old school feels.

In that case, here's part 6/6

The Last Stand

Wow, that is long  I'm not sure I can listen in one sit... but after just over 10 minutes, I love the sounds... especially keys and bass. Even the guitar isn't too bad in this one, I guess digital distortion is not too bad when the guitar is drenched in effects... I still wish for the sound of a real tube amp though.
Also, you're killing it on keys at some parts, man. I love it.

It's a Mesa mkIII. But to be fair it's not his, and the effects are not his either. It's also compressed to high hell and the mix wasn't really something I spent any time on. The mixdown was from over two hours of material and it isn't for any real purpose than to have it.

Also it gets better later on in the track when I pull out the Liberation

Also now that I think about it, the guitar amp is basically set for me playing a hollowbody. I don't think he changed anything

Dsp indeed

I have to agree with CR, it's difficult to sit through extended jams. Although not to say there isn't substance throughout the pieces, it's just hard to pencil in that much time when we have other things to tend to.
I shamefully admit due to the length, I listened to parts and skipped, but I always landed on something interesting.
As a brit might say, "quite nice "..
Very organic sounding, which I like, I like a lot. YOu've got a great recording, the drums which are usually the weakest part of most folks jams, sound very good.
May I ask what you're recording to? DAW? tape?
now excuse me while I go in search of the Moog Liberator solo.
