So no-one got Rasputin? :freak:

This effort at least is, well an exercise in mangling in response to Allerian's mangling of an alpine flavoured LP over there.

Alpine So-Do-Me!

Sorry PC, I'm not familiar with it... :confuse: You get points for recording and posting, though!

I didn't notice any decline in multi keyboard playing ability.

They were huge over here in the 70s, with 9 top ten hits including 2 #1s and 2 #2s between 1976 and 1979, but they don't seem to have really made it out of europe, and somehow haven't really been fondly remembered.

My timing is a bit off in places, it's hard to tell how badly that shows esp if you don;t know the piece, i definitely do it better when i only have one 'board to focus on.

it's quite a fun track, i guess with a dark undercurrent to it.

Boney M were huge here, and are definitely fondly remembered....

In fact only a few weeks ago I spent about 2 hours on YouTube watching Boney M clips exclusively.

You're in germany/mainland europe? I'm in UK and was just thinking that no-one much seems to have heard of them these days, at least not like say Abba or The Sex Pistols who everyone totally knows even if they don;t like.

have done a similar thing myself... disco isn;t usually my bag but they did some cracking tunes :thu:

My next door neighbour lived there for a while in the 50s. Said he left because there were too many forms of wildlife that could kill him.

They also did Ma Baker.

She was the meanest cat in old Chicago town.

lol he did have a young family at the time, perhaps there was a culture shock for him having to watch out for all those poisonous snakes, insects, jellyfish etc.

ok here's a little put up or shut up. This is that 80's song I'm working on .. it's a 6 bar loop.. I'm just going to extend it out into a A,B,C,A,B format with lyrics, while keeping the loop the same.
