In other news, I fished out the 1952 Admiralty Advance tube audio frequency generator from storage and have dropped it in to my regular guy who services analog stuff for me, he had a good chuckle and said it was a nice change from the stuff he usually works on, said he last saw one of those when he was at college cira 1970s.

Anyhow, he's gonna give it a service and check over to make sure it's safe, maybe fix it if it is faults, as I couldn't get any sounds from it, also he's gonna put in a 1/4inch jack socket which will save on buggeration with the connector things you're meant to wrap a wire around.

Heard back from my analogue man, turns out the audio frequency generator wasn't working due to a capacitor faiure and one of the tubes being dead... lol \i knew the buyer was lying to me.

Gonna pick up next week. :thu:

And here you go:

The lowest frequency range doesn't come through at all on my laptop.

So I've see you've built an interocitor!! That's a very impressive and difficult thing to do.....

New toy I picked up last weekend, very pernickerty little thing and I'm still getting to grips with it, P6 is just controller for this module.

Will let you have a guess what it is?

not my demos but really nice to hear this without some d00d explaining what it does again for the 1000th time lol

there's at least 4 parts from what i can tell so far...

the gas is strong with this one. like i get why people want a mini moog and all that it sounds wooly and phat as hell. when i got my voyager rack mount edition, the guy had an original (why he sold the voyager to me).

there's so much more that can be done with pushing the boundaries of sound design. although the super distorted and nasty demo of the korg monologue actually turned me off a bit. tomeso tv seems to strike a nice balance

:like:

Is that from the HBO version? Is it any good?

I'd recommend giving it a look, it's very well done, more like a movie than a HBO series, takes them so long to make S2 won't come out until 2018. Great music too.

I've had the twisted electrons since before christmas and haven't got to grips with it yet, combination of lack of time and it either being on the fritz or disagreeing with my gear, it's possible it doesn't like unexpected MIDI going through... still trying to figure that out. Maybe get another look later today if I can.

I'm finding myself wishing I had more available time to just mess around with it. As it is I try to at least play it everyday, but sometimes I'm too busy. It has so much potential though. A lot of fun to play with

Image Very sweet, and you put me to shame... I so need to to get cracking with tranche 3 of my P6 demo. Combination of working on my playing and work crap has got in the way of that for too long.

PC, I've been wanting to see a demo of your P6 for a while now. I'll admit that I was trying to inspire you by putting up a video relatively quickly, as well as inspire EP and others to share some music :)

The cool thing about this DSI poly sequencer though, is that its so simple and conveineint to use; and fun!

I realize that our synths are extremely similar, but they sound so different.

Ah, did you miss the ones I put up last year?

I want to do another with a lot of filter pedal stuff in, also my playing has come on quite a bit since then.
