Want to see your studio featured on the blog?

Of course you do! So here's what you need to know..

No post will be refused and will be posted in the order they are received on a monthly basis.

However CMG reserves the right to reject submissions for poor photo quality (you can resubmit your photos with better ones) or for content. So yes, please, swap out that nudie girl wall paper on your desktop before taking pics.

Take 4-5 good or better quality pics that show off your space. Then reply to this thread, post the pics in a post along with your answers to the following:

You name, forum name, DJ name, nickname or studio name you want to be credited by. (just pick one!)

Tell us what type or style of music you mainly produce.

List your gear both hardware and software.

Briefly describe your workflow.

Take your favorite 1 or 2 pieces of gear and tell us why it's your favorite.

Briefly tell us any neat things about you or your studio that you want to.

I found this mint vintage 8 track reel/reel on ebay and couldn't resist. Weighing in at 80 lbs it's HUGE.
You should've seen the box in came in.

The Emulator lll was an impulse BIN purchase. Afterwards I thought Oh F**k what have I done!
We were able to drive 140 miles to Grand Rapids to pick it up.(2 days later it had issues).
Just got it back from the shop with a clean bill of health after a 2 month wait..HAPPY SAMPLING!

I should be too embarrased to play, but, I'm not a prideful man.

I'm resting my elbows on the Hammond A-105.

The only thing remotely noteworthy would be the modified desk. I added a shelf with an extra 16 units of rack space above the monitors, with said monitors residing on the main level where they should have been in the first place. I also added a shelf right below the main level for a controller. I find that to be the right height for keyboarding.

One of those upper 8U racks would be a dandy place for a DIY synth, eh?

oh yeah, I see what ya did thar. Nice racks!

I'm disappointed in my mondo desk cause it keeps everything too far away, especially the monitor. I don't want to have to crane my neck and squint to make out the already too-small UI elements in Sonar. Anyone want a desk?

I had a glass-top desk before this, which let me bring the monitor as close as I wanted, but was crap for anything else. I was afraid to stack too much stuff on it, the glass was only supported on the corners.

I originally wanted to put my woodworkerings to use and build myself a desk, but I couldnt' decide on a design and finally got impatient and just bought what I thought would be a nice desk.

Meh.

I've always found having to decide on a desk irritating.
