Hey, I'm not complaining. It's nice that they included white for, you know, when you need just regular lighting.

Some of the controls on this are redundant, but I really, really like the keybed..

Room is getting painted, desk will be going back in ... eventually. I have to move my son in there first and then do his room and move him out.. lol. But progress is being made!

It's very... square.

I actually like that. I don't like the rounded, thin, beveled one.. not that it ultimately matters.. you're just playing the keys.. but still.

Are they weighted, semi or other? They look it from the pic. Is it possible to glean that from a pic? I think so.

Semi and they feel ... awesome. Not light and klaky like "synth action". I was really surprised considering how this more or less looks like a techno controller.

I like a tight, but not stiff resistance with no "thunk" at the bottom. I don't even like that about real piano keys, although I understand at their core they're mechanical.

I like the black version. The price seems good too, if it's as good as you say it is in terms of keybed quality.

And proper 61 keys, always good to have.

Personally, I would have designed it with two rows of 8 pads on the top right side. I think it would be nice and compact. But this is ok too, though probably a bit too big. But manageable.

Yeah I have to get some measurements, but I think my desk is big enough. I'm going to trash the two drawers underneath and do the ol sliding board on shelf pulls.

61 works for what I do too; it can give you enough room to work out some really cool cords and I've always just wanted one. I'm old enough for a bit of luxury :lo: I sound like what's his name.. keybrdwizwrd?!

Oh yeah the demo guy. He could demo any crappy keyboard and make it sound good.

well i've just had one hell of a stuido clean and tidy, set down all the gear to clean up, cleaned all the 1/4 jack sockets with a trumpet mouthpiece brush (perfect for it), still working on it but most of the work is done.

Should have done a before pic because it was a right shit tip, too many trailing cables and stuff to be able to get the mop in.

https://instagram.com/p/BTngjbXApym/

it's "length wise" now instead of "width wise" which is supposed to halp?

so far boards of canada still sounds pretty good...

i'll have to do a real listen when the dust settles

It's in the garage, not doing anything exactly musical, lazy, no good.. .. I have none. I'll get one later. I still have to get the room cleaned out and painted, so everything is stock piled in the garage for now.

I thought would I do was get a desktop rack for modules and then put effects and so on in the rack. it's big enough to put a mixer on top of too.
